An entity called It arrives on Earth with a simple purpose: to be watched from a distance. It can shapeshift by copying the forms of creatures whose reflections it absorbs. At first it's just a rock, then moss as the temperature climbs. Nothing changes until a dying wolf stumbles past one winter day. The moment It takes the wolf's shape, something clicks—It suddenly has consciousness and awareness, and starts wandering without any real destination. It soon meets a young boy who's been left behind, waiting for his tribe to return from a southern paradise full of fish and fruit. The boy's lonely but holds onto hope that his people haven't forgotten him and will come back someday. Restless and wanting to explore, the boy decides to leave with It and track down that paradise by following clues his tribe left behind. But he's badly hurt, his elders are nowhere to be found, and the odds aren't great. So what actually happens to him? To Your Eternity follows an immortal being as it gradually learns what it means to be human, encountering all kinds of people across different times and places.
