The Imperial Seal is a legendary artifact passed down through generations, granting immense power to those it deems worthy. This is the story of the warriors chosen by its will. The land is torn apart by civil war. Great armies clash in massive battles while legendary heroes rise to prominence, but the cost is paid in blood and suffering—the common people live in constant terror. Into this chaos comes Rikuson, a reluctant warrior whose family once guarded the Imperial Seal until Sonsaku stole it. At his mentor's urging, Rikuson joins Sonsaku's forces, hoping to understand the Seal's true purpose. But before he can learn anything, assassins strike Sonsaku down and the Seal vanishes once again. Now Rikuson must search for the artifact and uncover his own fate in the process.
