Synopsis

Mikoto Shinozaki is a socially awkward high school student who's also a magnet for bullying, thanks to his messy appearance and lack of confidence. Yuki Fukuzawa, the school's most popular girl, believes Mikoto's problems are mostly self-inflicted—so she decides to help by inviting him to join the cycling club. The idea being he'll get his act together and make some friends. Mikoto jumps at the chance, mainly because he's into Yuki. There's just one problem: he has no idea how to ride a bike. That doesn't stop him from becoming obsessed with the image of himself actually doing it though. Eventually curiosity wins out and he starts sneaking onto school grounds at night to teach himself. From there, Mikoto's life completely transforms as he discovers the world of cycling—and finds that pedaling opens doors he never expected.
