Synopsis

Tottoi moves to Sardinia and immediately falls in love with the island's beaches and caves. One day he stumbles upon a seal mother and her adorable pup hiding in a remote cave, and he's instantly charmed by their playful innocence and natural grace. He visits them constantly, but when word gets out about the seals, local adults decide to capture them for an aquarium—supposedly for their own protection. Torn between his attachment to the young seal and what he knows is right, Tottoi has to make a difficult choice. To preserve the seals' wild dignity and freedom, he decides to help them escape back into the sea, even though it means saying goodbye to his new friends.
