Deltora Quest
Long ago, the blacksmith Adin forged a magical belt adorned with seven gems—one from each of Deltora's tribes. Using its power, he defeated the Shadow Lord's invasion and was crowned king. But Adin knew the threat wasn't truly gone. Centuries later, people had largely forgotten about the Shadow Lord, and they'd grown resentful of their distant, seemingly indifferent monarchy. Then the Shadow Lord attacked again, shattering the Belt of Deltora and scattering its gems across the land. As darkness consumed the kingdom, Jarred helped the young king Endon and his wife escape, then vanished into hiding himself. The Shadow Lord's rule over Deltora became brutal and long-lasting. Yet hope survived in Jarred's son Lief, who grew up trained and determined to recover the seven gems and restore the belt. Joined by his friends Barda and Jasmine, Lief sets out to face the Shadow Lord's monsters and minions, fighting to break his tyranny and save Deltora.
