Synopsis

It's 2199, and Earth is dying. The Gamilas Empire bombed the planet into oblivion, forcing humanity underground. But the radiation is creeping deeper every day, and nobody has more than a year left before extinction hits. Every attempt to fight back or escape has been crushed—until a distress signal arrives from Iscandar, a planet in a neighboring galaxy, with the promise of salvation. Earth's military secretly builds a faster-than-light engine and retrofits the old battleship Yamato for deep space. Outfitted with cutting-edge weapons and crewed by dedicated soldiers, the legendary warship transforms into Space Battleship Yamato and launches toward Iscandar. It's a desperate mission across the galaxy, but it's humanity's last shot at survival.
