Synopsis

Umaru Doma's got it all figured out: perfect student by day, lazy otaku in a hamster hoodie by night. She lives for junk food and doing absolutely nothing once she's home—pretty much the opposite of her polished school persona. As Umaru settles into her routine, her friendships with classmates Nana, Kirie, and Sylphinford start to grow stronger, and things get increasingly chaotic. New mysteries pop up left and right: what exactly did Nana want from Umaru's older brother Taihei? Where did this mysterious girl with the diamond hairpin come from? And how does she seem to know Umaru so well? Himouto! Umaru-chan R digs into all of these questions and more.
