Synopsis

Touno Hikari is a trainee at a robot piloting academy, though she's pretty much terrible at everything. Her instructors keep her around anyway, which is weird. As the students progress through their training, they start wondering what the facility is actually after. Then Marie Vlaanderen shows up as a transfer student—and apparently she's been training since childhood to pilot these things. Her instructor hints that Marie might be the one capable of awakening something special.
