Synopsis

Fumiya Tomozaki is Japan's best Attack Families player—a competitive online game everyone calls Tackfam. But despite being at the top of the leaderboards, he's terrible at actual life. No friends, no social skills, and thoroughly convinced that the "game" of real life is rigged and unfair. He's basically written himself off as a hopeless character. Then he meets another top-tier Tackfam player and gets a shock: it's Aoi Hinami, a classmate who's everything he isn't—popular, smart, genuinely likable. She's equally stunned by how completely helpless Fumiya is outside of gaming. So Aoi decides to take him on as a personal project, insisting that real life is actually the greatest game there is. What follows is Fumiya stumbling through the messy, complicated business of social interaction and relationships, gradually leveling up in ways he never expected.
