Synopsis

Toppa Bashin is a hyperactive sixth grader obsessed with one thing: Battle Spirits. He carries a ruby pendant passed down from his absent father and spends his school days chasing card battles instead of paying attention in class—much to everyone else's annoyance. Everything changes when Bashin meets J, the prodigious reigning champion of Battle Spirits, who wears an identical pendant. Desperate to prove himself, Bashin challenges J to a duel. But the battle doesn't go down the way he expected. Instead, both of them get pulled into a mysterious floating arena called the Isekai World, where the creatures from the card game actually exist. Convinced he's found his calling, Bashin throws himself into this strange new world. He crosses paths with other card battlers who all carry special pendants of their own, and as he climbs toward the top, he starts discovering that Battle Spirits is way more complicated than he ever thought.
