Synopsis

Sousuke Yamazaki, Rin's childhood friend, transfers to Samezuka Academy, and the two quickly reconnect over their shared dream of swimming together. With Sousuke, Rin, Momotarou Mikoshiba (the captain's younger brother), and the determined Aiichirou Nitori on board, Samezuka's relay team comes together and the four grow closer. But as competitions heat up, Sousuke's sudden return to the school starts eating at him, and it's clearly affecting his performance in the pool. Rin picks up on the change right away and decides to dig into what's really going on with him.
