Synopsis

City Hunter is a notorious contractor outfit operating under the call sign "XYZ," taking on any job that comes their way—especially if it involves cleaning up Tokyo's criminal underworld. The group's star operative is Ryou Saeba, a sharpshooter with a Colt Python and ridiculous accuracy. He partners with Kaori Makimura, a tough tomboy who serves as his handler and, more importantly, the only thing standing between Ryou and his constant pursuit of beautiful women (usually with her massive hammer). Together they handle whatever cases come their way, from petty pickpockets and arms dealers all the way up to organized crime syndicates. Ryou's got the skills to back up his reputation, but his womanizing antics would probably get him killed if Kaori wasn't around to knock some sense into him. When he's actually focused on the job, though, there's not much that can stop him.
