Synopsis

Code Geass Synopsis It's 2010, and the Holy Empire of Britannia has conquered Japan, rebranding it as Area 11. The Japanese people have been fighting back ever since, desperate to reclaim their independence from their occupiers. Lelouch Lamperouge, a Britannian student living in Area 11, gets caught in the middle of a skirmish between the military and local resistance fighters. He's saved by a mysterious girl named C.C., who grants him Geass—a supernatural ability that lets him command anyone to obey him absolutely. Recognizing the power this gives him, Lelouch assumes the identity of Zero, a masked revolutionary leader. He then wages a brutal campaign against Britannia, determined to overthrow the empire and exact his revenge.
