Synopsis

Murong Xian murders his father and seizes the throne, surrounding himself with corrupt officials and spies while plunging the Tomb King City into chaos. Word spreads about a mysterious treasure hidden deep within the Kunlun Mountain tombs, drawing the attention of multiple factions—the Tomb King City itself, the Imperial Arrest Bureau, and various tomb-raiding sects all want a piece of it. To keep the sects' reputation intact and the treasure safe, Luo Shiqiu from the Luo family and the brilliant Lou Manfeng are tasked with finding the Tomb-Breaking Token, a key that unlocks the sealed Gu Zi Tomb. The Tomb King City responds by sending its young lord with a crack team of experts to booby-trap the tomb and stop them. Lou Manfeng plays it smart—he's got a double agent inside the Tomb King City, which lets him protect Luo Shiqiu while he trains the Qilin Arm needed to open the vault. Meanwhile, Manfeng stirs up trouble within the Tomb King City's ranks, convinces the deadly Poison Bone Hand master Han Qianluo to switch sides, outmaneuvers Lin Shuiyao from Mo Gong City, blocks the demon Ling Mo from Sound Demon Island, and somehow manages to take down seven elite tomb guardians in a brutal showdown at the Spirit Tower. When Luo Shiqiu finally faces off against the Qilin Young Master, both he and Han Qianluo end up destroying their Qilin Arms. Just as things look worst, Lou Manfeng shows up with critical intel and snatches the Tomb-Breaking Token. The furious tomb guardians strike back, but Han Qianluo throws himself in front of a killing blow meant for Manfeng.
