Synopsis

An Ling Yu Shi Di Qi picks up after the events of Lilo & Stitch and its sequels, but before the Stitch! anime begins. The story starts when space criminals kidnap Stitch, wanting to use him as a weapon for their own genetic experiment. Stitch manages to escape and ends up in China's Huangshan mountains, where he meets Ai, a local girl struggling to stay with her older sister Jiejie instead of being separated from her. Stitch becomes Ai's loyal "dog," and the two help each other out—Ai helps him deal with the space criminals chasing him, while he helps her keep her family together. When Jumba and Pleakley eventually track Stitch down, they're initially set on dragging him back to the United Galactic Federation. But Ai and Jiejie manage to convince them to let Stitch stay. The two aliens stick around anyway to keep tabs on things and lend a hand. However, Jumba starts getting worried about a secret function he built into Stitch—one that turns him into a giant destructive beast if his programming gets triggered in an urban area. The real problem is that if the space criminals figure out how to manipulate Stitch into activating it, things could go very wrong.
