The Super Mario Amada Series is a set of short anime adaptations of Japanese fairy tales that was released exclusively in Japan on August 3, 1989. Because of its Japan-only release, it's incredibly hard to find outside the country. The series takes three classic Japanese children's fairy tales and reimagines them with Mario characters. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and the Koopalings all show up throughout the stories. Each of the three tales runs about 15 minutes and adapts a different fairy tale: Momotaro, Issunboshi, and Snow White.
