Synopsis

Taeko Okajima is a 27-year-old woman who's spent her whole life in Tokyo. Burned out from city life, she heads to the countryside to visit her family and help with harvest season. On the train ride there, she finds herself lost in memories of her schoolgirl days—the awkwardness of puberty, the small moments that shaped her. It's like she's traveling alongside her younger self. When she arrives, a young farmer named Toshio picks her up, and the two hit it off immediately. Over her stay, Taeko reconnects with family and old friends, experiencing firsthand the differences between city and country life, and getting a real sense of what farming is actually like—the hard work and the rewards. The film follows Taeko as she grapples with who she's become versus who she dreamed of being as a kid. It's nostalgic and bittersweet, a quiet meditation on growing up and the gap between childhood expectations and adult reality.
