After the Demon King falls, Countess Romelia's life goes downhill fast. Her fiancé Prince Henri dumps her publicly, calling her useless in front of his new crew—Saint Elizabeth, the mage Ekaterina, and swordswoman Lu Hime. What they don't know is that Romelia has a hidden ability called "Grace" that gives her incredible luck. Humiliated and alone, she refuses to quit. Her homeland is still being ravaged by demon remnants and her people are enslaved, so Romelia decides to do something about it. She's got basically nothing to work with—no army, no healers, no money, and only green recruits. But she's smart and stubborn. She takes over fortresses from local lords to build up her forces, cuts deals with the church for healing magic, squeezes funds out of merchants, and gets her soldiers battle-hardened through monster hunts. Against impossible odds, Romelia claws her way back. She leads her growing band of followers on a desperate campaign to free her people and show everyone what she's actually made of.
