Synopsis

Naho is eleven and stuck being the primary caregiver for her two-year-old brother Jun at home. Her mother died giving birth to him, leaving Naho to handle most of the childcare while her father works. It's a lot for a kid—she'd rather be out playing with friends like other kids her age, but duty calls. One day a strange man in a long coat shows up at her door with a big suitcase. He calls himself Kotaro the Dreamball Dealer and claims he can whisk her away to a dreamland where she can escape her everyday life. After meeting him, weird stuff starts happening to Naho. She begins experiencing strange visions—one moment she's having fun with her friends, the next she's watching different worlds flash before her eyes. Then she finds herself back with her parents, the three of them together again like they used to be. But when anxiety creeps in, she suddenly finds herself inside Jun's dream instead. Naho's left reeling. What does she actually want from Kotaro? And what's she really searching for deep down?
