Synopsis

Set during Japan's Sengoku period, the story follows Furuta Sasuke, a vassal under the powerful warlord Oda Nobunaga. Sasuke is obsessed with tea ceremony and fine material goods—basically anything that might bring him fortune and status. He's studied under both Oda and the famous tea master Sen no Soueki, so he's walked the path of the Hyouge Mono, which is all about pursuing aesthetic refinement and worldly success through the tea arts.
