A string of diamond heists is hitting locations worldwide. When Malynera's own diamond reserves get stolen, Patalliro and Bancoran follow a lead to Japan—a mechanical spider left at the crime scene. Things get complicated fast. While they're questioning a suspect, the guy gets killed before revealing anything except the name of the organization behind it all: Tarantella. And here's the kicker—the assassin looks a lot like Bancoran's ex-lover Bjorn, who was supposed to be dead. Is he actually alive? If so, is he mixed up in this whole thing?
