Char's Deleted Affair This is basically a recap of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series through Char's Counterattack, all told from Char Aznable's perspective. It also sets up the events leading into Gundam Unicorn. The project started as a live stage event where Char's voice actor narrated the story while the anime played on screens around him. When it came out on DVD, they mixed things up—cutting between his narration and actual footage from the shows to create one continuous experience.
