Synopsis

After winning the Nationals, Seishun Academy gets invited to compete in a junior tennis tournament at Wimbledon. They're joined by their usual rivals—Hyoutei Academy, Shitenhouji Middle School, and Rikkai University-Affiliated Middle School—who all received invitations too. The night before the tournament starts, a group of thugs attacks several players, putting them in the hospital. The only real clue is that each attacker wears a silver ring, and their leader goes by Keith. The middle school players gather to figure out what to do, but they're interrupted by Ling Xiu, who'd actually saved Ryouma from the attackers the previous night. Xiu drops a bombshell: he used to be part of Clack, a gang of tennis players banned from official competition for their brutal style and violent behavior. He warns the students to stay out of it—they don't stand a chance against Clack's way of playing. Unable to just sit around, Ryouma sneaks off with Xiu to hunt down Keith and take on Clack himself. But once Ryouma realizes what Xiu really wants, his determination shifts. He's not just trying to stop Keith anymore—he wants to save him from himself.
