Super Fishing Grander Musashi
Musashi lives with his father after his mother abandoned them three years earlier. He's convinced she'll come back someday. When his father moves them from Tokyo to a rural village, Musashi is miserable—he begs to go back to the city, worried his mother won't be able to find them. Not long after the move, Musashi spots a man fishing with lures and becomes completely hooked on the technique. The man teaches him the basics, and Musashi eventually learns that his maternal grandfather was actually a legendary bass fishing champion. This discovery feels like fate. Musashi becomes convinced that fishing might somehow reconnect him with his missing mother. He turns out to have genuine talent for it, and before long he's traveling across the world chasing rare and exotic fish. Slowly, through all this fishing, he starts to actually enjoy being out in nature instead of resenting it.
