Synopsis

Torishirojima is a quiet island where life moves at its own pace—a world away from the chaos of the city. Hairi Takahara, a boy dealing with some emotional baggage, decides to spend the summer there after his grandmother's death, staying with his aunt Kyouko Misaki and his cousin Umi Katou. When he arrives, the island's laid-back vibe is a total shift from what he's used to. He and Umi start helping his aunt sort through a shed packed with their grandmother's old things, but Hairi spends most of his free time exploring. That's when he meets a small group of local kids: the upbeat Tsumugi Wenders, the withdrawn Shiroha Naruse, the wandering Kamome Kushima, and the blunt Ao Sorakado. As Hairi gets pulled into their world and the island's quiet mysteries, his summer becomes something unexpected—filled with memorable moments, weird nostalgia, and experiences that end up changing him in ways he didn't see coming.
