A wind god named Silphyleel accidentally kills an ordinary 28-year-old guy named Takumi Kayano. Since bringing him back to life isn't an option, the god does the next best thing: reincarnates him in the fantasy world of Etelldia instead. Takumi wakes up in the Forest of Gaia with a solid toolkit—magic powers and an inventory that can hold basically anything. The forest is crawling with high-level monsters, which makes it a terrible place to be. That's why he's shocked to find two five-year-old twins somehow surviving there on their own, kept alive mainly by their freakishly strong bodies. Takumi takes them in and names them Allen and Elena.
