A decade ago, the mad scientist Dr. Hell and his Underground Empire nearly wiped out humanity—until a young pilot named Kouji Kabuto stopped them cold, fighting back in the legendary robot Mazinger Z. With Dr. Hell defeated, peace finally returned to Earth. Since then, Kouji's hung up his pilot suit and followed his family legacy, becoming a scientist himself. But when he stumbles onto something buried beneath Mt. Fuji, everything changes. A threat far worse than anything Dr. Hell ever posed is about to emerge, and it's going to reshape Kouji's entire future.
