Zhuge Kongming was a legendary tactician during China's Three Kingdoms period, known for his brilliant military strategies. But after leading his army through endless brutal campaigns, he collapses during the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. Exhausted and haunted by the relentless warfare, he dies wishing for a chance to be reborn in a peaceful world. His wish is granted. Kongming suddenly wakes up in modern-day Tokyo with his young body restored and all his memories intact. Completely lost in this strange new world, he stumbles into a nightclub where he hears Eiko Tsukimi singing. Her performance moves him deeply, and when she notices his confusion, she takes pity on him and becomes his guide to the modern era. As he learns about contemporary culture, Kongming discovers a passion for music—and more importantly, he recognizes that Eiko has genuine star potential. Convinced he can make her famous, Kongming becomes her manager. The music industry, though, is ruthless and unforgiving. But Kongming isn't the type to back down from a challenge. If his ancient military tactics could win wars, they can certainly launch a singing career—or at least, that's what he's betting on.
