Synopsis

Kyousuke Kasuga and his friends are staying at his grandparents' house for a winter break ski trip. The excitement doesn't last long once they hear about a curse that dooms couples who ski down the mountain together. With everyone's love lives and crushes hanging in the balance, the group's plans fall apart. Kyousuke and Madoka Ayukawa are on a trip to Hawaii when Hikaru Hiyama gets kidnapped. Kyousuke has to rescue her without letting Madoka find out he has paranormal powers. While cramming for exams, Kyousuke wishes he could trade places with his pet cat or fish to avoid studying. When his grandfather shows up with a magic rope that can swap bodies, Kyousuke realizes he's way in over his head. Kyousuke's cousin Akane visits and causes total chaos with her ability to create illusions. Things escalate when she develops a crush on Madoka and becomes Kyousuke's romantic rival. Kyousuke is helping prep for a local music festival when a popular idol crashes into him—and they swap bodies. Now he has to get his body back and keep the secret under wraps before the concert starts. Kyousuke has a disturbing dream where Akane tries to seduce him. Freaked out and disgusted with himself, he's blindsided when she actually asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend in front of her friends. Madoka's father is performing in Japan and she's thrilled to see him. But when she spots him with another woman, she's thrown for a loop.
