Synopsis

In a world plagued by constant monster invasions, adventuring is the dream job—the kind that brings real fame and recognition. A young human warrior named Alvin wants in on that success, so he takes on a basic guild request to get his foot in the door. Things go south fast when he runs into a magical bear and nearly gets killed. Lucky for him, a dark elf healer named Karla shows up and casually offers to help, apparently oblivious to how much danger he's actually in. After an awkward conversation that's way more complicated than it needs to be thanks to Karla's bizarre personality, Alvin somehow gets her to agree. Except she screws up the spell—now if he gets too far away from her, he dies. Stuck with a curse binding him to this eccentric healer, Alvin's still determined to make it as a real adventurer. Whether teaming up with Karla makes things easier or just way more complicated really depends on whatever mood she wakes up in.
