Seven gifted Japanese high schoolers find themselves stranded in Freyjagard, a medieval fantasy world, after surviving a plane crash. The world is divided between two races: the byuma, animal-like beings with incredible strength, and the hyuma, humans with rare magical abilities. After locals named Winona and her adopted elven daughter Lyrule rescue them, the group decides to repay the favor by helping their village and figuring out how to get home. Tsukasa Mikogami, Japan's prime minister and the group's natural leader, takes charge of their strategy. He coordinates their efforts to gather intel and resources while leveraging their modern knowledge and skills. The group starts investigating an old legend about seven heroes from another world who supposedly defeated an evil dragon—wondering if it might somehow connect to their situation and provide a way back home. But Tsukasa has an important caveat: they need to be careful not to destabilize Freyjagard's society. Using their modern advantages too openly or aggressively could cause serious problems for the world they're trying to help. So while they work toward their goals, they're also learning to navigate this new culture thoughtfully.
