Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki
Kiitarou has always been able to sense youkai—spirits and supernatural creatures—really clearly, which most people can't do. But when he sneaks into a forbidden storehouse, his family kicks him out. He ends up renting a cheap place and discovers it's already occupied by Suzu, a zashiki warashi (a house spirit that brings good fortune). Together, they start attracting all sorts of youkai. A nurikabe shows up—that's the wall-like creature that blocks travelers—followed by mokumokuren, which manifests as a pair of eyes floating in a ripped paper screen. As weird encounters keep piling up, you've got to wonder what other folklore creatures are going to crash through the door.
