The quarterfinals of the Winter Continuous Track Cup are heating up, and every school is fighting tooth and nail. What started as an intense back-and-forth battle between Ooarai Girls Academy and Chi-Ha-Tan Academy has turned into a brutal 12-hour slog through the jungle. Neither side has managed to pull ahead, and by now everyone's practically running on empty. Still, Miho Nishizumi and her crew keep pushing through the morning, desperate to land that one decisive hit before Chi-Ha-Tan can recover. Things aren't going smoothly for Kuromorimine Girls Academy either. Under Erika Itsumi's new leadership, they're locked in a tough matchup against Pravda High School and struggling to keep up. But when Erika takes her sister Maho's advice and ditches Kuromorimine's traditional playbook for something more flexible, the tables start turning in her favor. Meanwhile, St. Gloriana Girls College is battling Anzio High School, and Saunders University High School is dealing with an unexpected headache: Continuation High School and their enigmatic ace sniper, Jouko. Only four teams can move to the semifinals, so everyone's going to have to bring their absolute best if they want to keep their tournament run alive.
