Synopsis

Kaede is a cheerful, energetic eighth grader—except when it comes to boys, at which point she turns into a nervous wreck. One afternoon, she stumbles into a weird shop and buys a colorful cocoa mug. Back home, she notices an engraved message on the bottom: pour hot cocoa and read it aloud, and a love fairy called a muglox will show up and grant your wish. Kaede's skeptical but figures why not. She wishes to date Yuuki, the cute guy from her class. Enter Mirumo—an adorable little blue muglox who immediately makes it clear he'd rather eat chocolate and cause chaos than actually help her. Turns out Mirumo is basically royalty in the muglox world, and he's run away to escape an arranged marriage to Rirumu. Problem is, his ex-fiancée is coming after him. So is Yashichi, a bounty hunter. So are hundreds of other muglox—some helpful, some chaotic, all of them weird. With this ridiculous crew now loose in her life, Kaede's school days are about to get a lot more complicated.
