Synopsis

During Japan's turbulent final years before the Meiji Restoration, wandering mercenary Yojiro Akizuki roams the country taking jobs—but he's after something bigger. He uses his sword skills to hunt down supernatural artifacts, pursuing them with obsessive drive and leaving a bloody trail in his wake. When he stumbles across a traveling theater troupe, things get complicated. The actors aren't what they seem, and they're clearly involved in something sinister. But is Yojiro's encounter with them just bad luck, or is there a larger conspiracy pulling the strings?
