Synopsis

The final Captain Tsubasa film centers on Japan's match against the Netherlands. After losing their first two games against the seemingly unbeatable Dutch team, the Japanese squad's morale hits rock bottom—even their star striker Hyuga is sidelined with a leg injury. Desperate to turn things around, the team's management reaches out to both Wakabayashi in Germany and Tsubasa in Brazil, pleading with them to return and help. Both initially refuse. But in the second half of the third game, Tsubasa shows up anyway and joins the team. His presence instantly restores everyone's confidence and fighting spirit. With Tsubasa back as captain, Japan crushes the Netherlands 11-1 in the final match.
