Synopsis

A special forces team hunting drug lords near Yunnan's border stumbles into ancient caves belonging to the lost Shu civilization. They interrupt some kind of ritual and nearly get wiped out. Only two survive—Shen Shuang and anti-drug cop Sun Desheng—thanks to a mysterious white-haired guy named Wu Hao pulling them out. This crazy experience lands them in the "Civil Affairs Investigation and Research Bureau," where they start running into increasingly weird supernatural cases that slowly pull back the curtain on a hidden world.
