Synopsis

Way back, a goddess came down from Heaven and blessed Gatepia, a barren wasteland. Giant gates suddenly sprouted up everywhere, each one leading to dungeons packed with kirakuri—crystals full of the world-sustaining energy everyone needs. Naturally, adventure companies popped up to hunt these things down and make a living. When Minato's father vanishes inside one of Gatepia's massive gates, his childhood friend Yutoria pushes him to take over the family business: the Kibou Company. He's not thrilled about it, but he agrees anyway and gets introduced to the crew—Makoto the priest, Akari the soldier, and Guide the accountant. So Minato becomes president. As he and his team tackle whatever jobs come their way to keep the small company afloat, they gradually figure out what really happened to his father.
