Saiyuuki Reload Gunlock This prequel series follows the Sanzo Party before they actually became a party, showing how each member's story led them toward their eventual journey west. The first OVA centers on Sanzo and his mentor, along with Ukoku, who'd later become known as Ni Jianyi. The second OVA depicts Goku and Sanzo meeting for the first time. The third focuses on what happens to Hakkai after the tragic events and trial we saw flashbacks of in the original series—basically showing how he ends up moving in with Gojyo afterward.
