Synopsis

A year after their brutal campaign against Zhao, Qin has set its sights on the next phase of King Ying Zheng's master plan: unifying China by conquering the remaining six states. Wei is up next—a smaller neighbor that happens to be strategically positioned for the invasion. Xin commands three hundred soldiers now and continues climbing the ranks with his elite Fei Xin Unit. He's hungry for bigger victories, both to prove himself and to honor the comrades he's lost along the way. But he's not alone in his ambitions. As Qin launches its preliminary strikes against Wei, Xin faces off against rival commanders from noble families who outrank him. Meanwhile, back home, the palace is fracturing. Factions are stirring against Zheng's rule, forcing the king to watch his back even as his armies push forward. With enemies closing in from all sides—on the battlefield and in court—both Zheng and Xin have to step up. They're determined to leave their mark on history by forging a unified China through sheer force of will.
