Synopsis

This is an adaptation of Michiharu Kusunoki's 1985 manga from Young Magazine. The guy also created Cinderella for Lullaby for Wednesday, if that means anything to you. It's basically about local street punks who steal cars, swap out the plates, and flip them for cash—but they can't resist taking them out for races against other gangs first. The anime picks up right where the 1987 live-action film with Kazuya Kimura ended, so it's a direct continuation of that story.
