Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040
After an earthquake nearly destroyed Tokyo, the city rebuilt itself at breakneck speed—thanks to humanoid robots called boomers that Genom Corporation mass-produced as cheap labor. Genom got filthy rich and powerful enough to expand even into space. Sounds great, right? Not really. The boomers started glitching out randomly, going haywire and killing people. So Tokyo created the Advanced Police to deal with the problem. There were also whispers of an underground group called the Knight Sabers doing vigilante work on the side. Linna Yamazaki, a fan of the Knight Sabers, comes to Tokyo hoping to track them down. Instead, she crosses paths with three other women: Priscilla Asagiri, a mysterious singer; Sylia Stingray, a sharp businesswoman; and Nene Romanova, who's got endless energy. Each had their own reasons for being in the city, but they end up working together. As things heat up, they realize the boomer crisis is way more complicated than anyone thought.
