Synopsis

It's a time of civil war in Zipangu, a country where humans and gimmick warriors—superhuman robots—coexist and compete for power. Musashi, a samurai gimmick warrior, sets out on a quest to become the greatest samurai alive. As he battles his way forward, he encounters numerous allies and enemies, including his lifelong rival Kojiro, a skilled swordsman. Things take a turn when Musashi and Kojiro are ordered by their general to escort his granddaughter, the princess. She's spoiled and difficult, so what should be a straightforward escort mission devolves into one mishap after another. Before long, they're caught up in the larger struggle for control of the entire country.
