Synopsis

Joelle Davidovich Pomponette—or just "Pompo"—is a seriously talented film producer who inherited both her grandfather's industry connections and his instinct for storytelling. Problem is, she's spent her career churning out nothing but low-budget B-movies, which is exactly what she wants to do. That changes when she hands her assistant Gene Fini a script for a prestige project about a composer's life and tells him he's directing it. Gene dives headfirst into the production, determined to pull off something great. But he's drowning in work with barely any time left before the deadline hits, and he's forced to grapple with what corners he can cut and what he absolutely can't compromise on.
