Synopsis

Sixty years ago, a mysterious insomnia epidemic hit humanity hard. People couldn't sleep for over a week, and the sleep deprivation drove them completely insane. A cure was developed, but it came with a brutal side effect—it turned patients into vampires. Humans fought back and won the war, though some vampires managed to survive in hiding. Mi Liu is half-human, half-vampire, born to represent hope and a possible bridge between the two species. But instead of being a symbol of peace, he's a career criminal who ends up leading a bank heist. After his arrest, Mi Liu gets transferred to a high-security prison run by the National Defense Agency to contain vampires. While trying to escape with a fellow prisoner named Anji, they're suddenly attacked by mysterious monsters. That's when Mi Liu realizes something disturbing: the prison is built on the ruins of Blue Town, the original birthplace of vampires. Now they're stuck trying to answer some serious questions. Why are vampires being held in this specific location? What are these creatures attacking them? And what's really going on at Blue Town?
