Synopsis

The world of Remnant has been plagued by the Grimm since ancient times—mindless creatures hell-bent on destroying both humans and Faunus alike. To fight back, the four kingdoms built academies to train huntsmen, warriors dedicated to wiping out the threat. In Vale, fifteen-year-old Ruby Rose has always wanted to attend the prestigious Beacon Academy, but she's stuck watching her older sister Yang leave without her. That changes when Ruby takes down a group of armed robbers, impressing Beacon's headmaster Professor Ozpin enough to get an early invitation. Ruby's thrilled to finally join Yang at the academy. Around the same time, Weiss Schnee—a wealthy heiress from Atlas—defies her father to pursue her own path at Beacon, while Blake Belladonna, a former member of a vigilante group, arrives looking for a fresh start. When these four girls meet, the chemistry is rough. Their clashing personalities and opposing beliefs create immediate friction. But once they start working together as Team RWBY, they become a force that shakes Beacon in ways the academy's never seen before.
