Synopsis

Perception Art used to be pretty much ignored by the art establishment, but it's blown up in popularity. The whole thing evolved to engage all five senses, giving viewers a fully immersive experience. Kazuya Yamanashi grew up with a major advantage—his parents literally created the movement, and he's inherited their talent for it. Now a first-year at Eisen High School, he's determined to become the best Perception Artist around. But there's more to his decision to attend Eisen than just ambition. He wants to reconcile with Kyou Takise, his childhood best friend who's now a third-year there. The problem is, they're in different academic tracks, which means they've drifted even further apart. Then fate intervenes. Kazuya and Kyou get paired up for the Staircaser competition—an exclusive event where the winners represent Eisen for the whole year. If they want to actually win against the other competitors, they're going to have to learn how to work together and move past whatever's between them.
