Synopsis

Qin Hu and his team work for the Jinyiwei, operating under a code: the emperor protects the nation, the institution protects the state, and true heroes work in the shadows without seeking recognition. They're dedicated to fighting against rebel forces and maintaining order, blending the strict duty of Jinyiwei agents with the honor code of martial artists. Qin Hu himself has always been a troublemaker, but when he investigates a bizarre murder case, he stumbles onto something far bigger—a conspiracy that threatens ordinary people across the land.
