Synopsis

The Bernstein family has always been obsessed with books—it's basically their whole thing. Elianna Bernstein, daughter of a baron in the Sauslind Kingdom, fits right in. People call her the Bibliophile Princess instead of just a regular bookworm. Four years ago, crown prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald made her a deal: become his fiancée, and she could keep reading whenever she wanted. Elianna jumped at it, mainly because marrying him meant access to the royal archives with way more books than she'd ever seen. She didn't care about being a princess or any of that—the books were the whole appeal. She's always been convinced there's nothing romantic about their engagement. So when she spots Christopher getting close to another girl, she figures their arrangement is basically done. But then something shifts. As they actually spend time together and start getting to know each other, both of them begin to realize their feelings might be real after all.
