Oden-kun
Inside a kettle on an oden food cart exists a strange pocket dimension called Oden village. The residents—who are literally pieces of oden—spend their days waiting to be eaten by customers. While they wait, Oden-kun takes it upon himself to help his fellow villagers achieve their dreams. When he learns that a customer's mother has cancer, Oden-kun makes the ultimate sacrifice: he gets eaten so he can confront the cancer cells plaguing her body. His real motivation, though, is more personal—Oden-kun dreams of reuniting with his own mother someday. So he commits to performing one good deed every single day, hoping that kindness will eventually bring them back together.
